Bulk carrier KC HADONG, Sakhalin UPDATE refloated

Apr 26: Bulk carrier was refloated at around 2000 LT Apr 26 by port tugs and salvage ship, and taken to Shakhtersk anchorage. As of 2330 LT, the ship is understood to be anchored, with port tugs and salvage ship remaining at her side.

Apr 22 0240 UTC UPDATE: According to officials, the ship drifted aground after anchor dragged. No leak reported. Still aground, no tugs seen yet, probably because of weather.
Apr 21 1700 UTC: Bulk carrier KC HADONG aground at Shakhtersk, central western Sakhalin coast, Tatar Strait, since 0240 LT Apr 22 – the ship anchored at Shakhtersk anchorage on Apr 14 and, understood, either drifted aground, or ran aground while maneuvering.
