Supertanker in load aground in Singapore Strait near gas pipeline

Very Large Crude Carrier YOUNG YONG ran aground in Singapore Strait in the evening Oct 26, while proceeding from outer Singapore Anchorage in South China Sea to Nipa island, Riau islands, Indonesia, with final destination Mozambique. Tanker is in full load carrying 284,429 tons of crude. She’s still aground as of 1430 UTC Oct 28, with tug or tugs at her side. The problem is, she grounded near gas pipeline, so salvors have to be extremely cautious to avoid damaging pipeline. No leak reported.
