Lithuanian ship collided with 2 bridges in Rhone river near Lyon, France
General cargo ship ARAMIS collided with rail bridge and after first collision, moved further and collided with auto bridge, on river Rhone, France, on Sep 28. According to Lithuanian sources, ship’s bow and superstructure, including bridge, were heavily damaged. Master was treated face cuts inflicted by bridge windows broken glass. Latest ship’s AIS signal received on Sep 27, when ship was approaching Fos, France, en route to Lyon from Naples Italy. The ship was towed to Lyon, and berthed. She’s to be repaired. No information on accident circumstances.
