Stop this “tanker” nonsense, please

Iran seized yet another vessel, suspected by Iran in “oil contraband”:
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has seized a ship carrying some 250,000 liters of smuggled diesel fuel in the Persian Gulf, detaining all crew members on board.
Brigadier General Ali Ozmaei, an IRGC commander, said on Monday that the vessel, manned by 11 crew members, was detained near the Strait of Hormuz when it was smuggling the fuel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Iran

Judging from video, it is not a tanker, it is not even an old offshore supply ship like the one Iran seized early September, mv AL BURAQ 1:
It’s a wooden dhow, local universal type of boats, widely used in cargo transportation, in fishing, etc. This boat of course, isn’t registered in any intl database. 250000 liters of oil are equal to some 200-250 tons of whatever liquid there was in dhow, not 250,000 barrels or tons, but 200-250 tons only. Iran media always measure seized oil in liters – not because Iran can’t convert liters into tons or barrels, but because the resulting quantity looks very impressive, when it’s in liters.
But media went absolutely crazy, frantically writing about seized “tanker”, “amid growing tension”, and posting photos of supertankers.
