Drilling ship developed heavy list, abandoned UPDATE

Drilling ship PATRA OFFSHORE, deployed in wind farming off Changhua, Taiwan, south of Taichung, Taiwan Strait, developed a heavy portside list in the afternoon Aug 22, presumably after drilling rod got stuck in bottom. Water ingress was reported, fearing capsize and sinking, 40 people on board left the ship and were rescued by Taiwanese CG and SAR, no injures reported.
As of 1600 UTC Aug 22, condition and status of PATRA OFFSHORE remain unknown.
Aug 23 UPDATE: Was towed to Taichung.
