Tragic accident in South Atlantic on Croatian bulk carrier, 2 dead

Bulk carrier AP DUBRAVA had to interrupt her voyage from San Martin Argentina to Las Palmas Canary Islands, after a tragic accident on board, which occurred on Jul 17. During understood, wielding works, four crewman, including three Croatians and one Ukrainian, were injured, two of them later died. The ship contacted Brazilian authorities and headed for nearest Brazilian port. Brazilian Navy or SAR helicopter with paramedics reached bulk carrier in the morning Jul 18, and medevaced two injured seamen. As of 1400 UTC Jul 18, AP DUBRAVA was approaching Port of Vitoria, to disembark bodies and undergo investigation and all required procedures.
