Fishing vessel sank after collision with bulk carrier, 5 missing, East China sea

Fishing vessel with 7 crew was struck by a cargo ship at around 1340 Beijing time Feb 23 in East China sea in Zhejiang Province waters, some 80 nm ESE of Ningbo. Fishing vessel sank, 2 fishermen were rescued, 5 went missing, SAR underway. Cargo ship wasn’t identified, but all available information point at bulk carrier DONG FANG SHENG. Bulk carrier is en route from Tangshan, China, Yellow sea, to Zhuhai, South China. The ship obviously was ordered to interrupt voyage and stop in Zhejiang waters, for investigation.
