Latvian freighter aground in Black sea VIDEO

General cargo ship FEHN LYRA ran aground in Black sea some 2 nm off Kefken, east of Bosphorus, Turkey coast, at around 0300 LT Feb 16. The ship was en route from Istanbul to Eregli, Turkey, Black sea. Bad weather is blamed for accident, probably the ship was anchored and drifted aground. Crew were evacuated by Turkish emergency team. The ship remains aground as of 1200 UTC, but refloating attempts won’t be possible until weather improves. No reports on damages and/or leak.
