APL VANCOUVER fire Feb 3 UPDATE VIDEO

Feb 3 1520 UTC: Ship’s crew or more probably, part of crew, reportedly were evacuated. Vietnamese Authorities said firefighting will last for at least a week more. There are 4515 containers on board, 134 of them contain flammable and toxic goods, but their location not clear. Until now, no toxic fumes recorded. Master of the ship is of Croatian nationality.

Feb 3 UPDATE: APL VANCOUVER and deployed SAR tugs moved south, from Vung Ro Bay to Phan Rang Bay, Ninh Thuan Province, because of deteriorated weather and some other considerations. Reportedly, fire, said to be subdued, on Feb 2 went off again. Salvage 11-experts team is already on site.
