Transmediterranea’s ferry contacted crane, Canary Islands

Transmediterranea’s ferry’s top bridge mast with radar antennae contacted portal crane at Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura island, Canary islands, at night Oct 13, during berthing. Crane was damaged, hampering cargo operations in port. Ferry reportedly didn’t sustain any detainable damages and left the port as scheduled. Crane operator is blamed for accident. According to available data, ferry in question is ABLAYZIAN, which called Puerto del Rosario on Oct 13. As of morning Oct 15, ferry was under way in the Atlantic, heading for Cadiz Spai.
