Fast ferry struck bulk carrier off Singapore, severely damaged

Fast ferry VOC BATAVIA (No data found, see pics) in the morning Oct 11 collided with, reportedly, bulk carrier PACIFIC CROWN on approached to Singapore in South China sea, in position 01 43N 104 43E. Ferry was en route from Tarempa - Anambas, Riau Archipelago, Indonesia, to Bintan Pura, Tanjungpinang, Bintan island, with 153 passengers on board. Ferry was severely damaged, a number of passengers and crew suffered injures, one passenger was thrown overboard, but luckily, rescued. Bulk carrier safely reached Singapore and wasn’t blamed for accident, looks like it was ferry fault.
