Coastal freighter fire, Norway

Coastal freighter HEIKO suffered engine room fire on the night Sep 19-20 in Vilnesfjorden, Norway, north of Bergen. Four crew were evacuated, and as of early morning Sep 20, fire reportedly, was still on, with several SAR ships and boats deployed in salvage. Ship’s AIS is off for about a year already, so ship’s present status, as of 0600 UTC Sep 20, is unknown. She is loaded with sand and stones. On #Askvoll photo troubled HEIKO.
