Snapped mooring line of bulk carrier killed 1, wounded 3 Update 1 died in hospital

Jun 29 Update: ANSAC S{LENDOR Chief Mate, 41-year old Chinese nationality, died in hospital at night Jun 28.

Mooring line snapped and recoiled during bulk carrier ANSAC SPLENDOR shift along berth early in the morning LT Jun 28 in Longview Port, Washington, river Columbia. One longshoreman was killed on the spot, three were wounded, one of them, Chief Mate of the ship, critically. Among other two another longshoreman and a security guard.
