Cargo ship aground in Baltic sea Update

Jun 18 Update: SORMOVSKIY 3052 suffered hull breaches in bow section and in thruster compartment, there are unspecified damages along port and starboard side. The ship is in load, divers were to check underwater hull during daytime Jun 18, to determine salvage plan. Probably salvage will require lightering. All 11 crew remain on board.

Jun 18 0600 UTC: General cargo SORMOVSKIY 3052, IMO 8222379, dwt 3,832 – Aground since 0341 UTC north of Seskar island, Russia, Gulf of Finland. En route from S-Petersburg to Police Poland. 0610 UTC – same position.
