Major fire on Australian bulk carrier, Australia

Cargo of dolomite ingited in hold of a bulk carrier IRON CHIEFTAIN in Kembla port, New South Wales, Australia, early in the morning Jun 18, when dolomite was offloaded from the ship by conveyor belt. As of morning, up to 100 firefighters are engaged in firefighting, which said to take 2-3 days. Firefighters are trying to suppress fire with foam, all 20 crew meanwhile, left the ship, no injures reported. Port Kembla operations were suspended from 0400 until 1130 LT. Photos and video at
