Cargo ship sinking in Java sea, crew evacuated

General cargo ship CITRA MULIA 9 issued distress signal during the night May 23, reporting water ingress and sinking, in vicinity 05 34S 110 58E, Java sea, some 30 nm northeast of Karimunjawa islands, Central Java. 19 crew abandoned the ship and was later recovered by patrol ship. No information yet on the fate of the ship.
