Passenger ship aground, 250 passengers evacuated Updates Photos

Passenger ship BUKIT RAYA with some 250 passengers on board ran aground on reef or rock in Lapma Strait, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands South China sea, on May 18, while en route to Pontianak, western Kalimantan. All passengers were evacuated, BUKIT RAYA was holed, water ingress reported.
Update: As of 0700 UTC May 19, she was reported as still aground, waiting for salvage, plan to be worked out in Jakarta. She was breached starboard underwater, or bottom, leak said to be minor.
