Fast ferry with 400 passengers damaged in collision, Korea

Fast ferry ELDORADO with 403 passengers on board collided with unidentified object in Japan sea in the evening Mar 31, while en route from Dokdo to Ulleundo island, Korea, at some 28 knots speed. Hull was breached, with ensuing water ingress in engine room area. Water ingress was put under control by crew using pumps, ferry managed to reach Ulleungdo at reduced speed but under own power, escorted by Korean Patrol ship. No injures reported.
