Captain medevaced with heart attack, Gulf of Cadiz

Product tanker IBIS PACIFIC requested medical assistance, reporting to MRCC Spain tanker’s Captain with symptoms of heart attack, on Mar 12 in Gulf of Cadiz, Atlantic, some 130 nm off Huelva, while en route from Spain to Caribbean – Central America. Captain was medevaced at night Mar 12 or early Mar 13 by helicopter, and transferred to hospital in Huelva, said Spanish Salvamento Maritimo. Tanker probably continued voyage, but there is no AIS during last 13-14 hours, as of 1300 UTC Mar 13, so situation unclear.
