LPG tanker disabled in Bosphorus
LPG tanker GOLDEN SEA suffered engine failure at around 1130 UTC Feb 12 in Bosphorus near Maiden’s Tower (Kiz Kulesi), while transiting the strait in southern direction. Two tugs were sent to disabled tanker, she was safely towed to Yesilkoy Anchorage, Marmara sea, and brought to anchor, traffic wasn’t affected. Tanker is en route from Turkish Black sea to Tripoli Lebanon, as of 1630 UTC Feb 12 she was still at anchor. On photo from Deniz Haber troubled GOLDEN SEA in Bosphorus.
