Ferry grounding, Norway

Oct. 27, 2017 at 05:02 by Mikhail Voytenko in Accidents

Ferry KARLSOY ran aground shoerlt after 1100 UTC Oct 26, while en route from Vengsoy island to Belvika with 6 people on board. Ferry changed her course hard a port and ran onto southern tip of Vangsoy island, though she should keep straight course, reason yet unknown. She was refloated several hours later and reached Belvika. Later that day she sailed to Tromso, probably for inspection and repairs. On a photo by Magnus Aamo Holte an.no grounded KARSLOY.
