Durban mayhem: bulk carrier MARITIME NEWANDA Correction

Owners of bulk carrier MARITIME NEWANDA made a statement in relation to Durban Harbor accident:

The owners and managers of the bulk carrier, MARITIME NEWANDA (55,820 dwt) confirm that their vessel broke off her mooring in strong winds at the port of Durban, South Africa on 10th October. The vessel immediately alerted the Port Authority and pilots and tugs were promptly dispatched. The vessel is now safely alongside.
The owners and managers would like to confirm that at no point was their vessel aground or in immediate danger of running aground. There were no injuries or pollution as a result of this incident and a full investigation will take place.
