Triple collision at Patras, caused by cargo ferry EUROCARGO TRIESTE

Ro-ro cargo ship EUROCARGO TRIESTE in the afternoon Oct 7 while maneuvering to leave the berth at Patras port, Greece, struck tanker AEGEAS III, which was moored to ferry SUPERFAST I, in process of bunkering. EUROCARGO TRIESTE sustained slight damages of starboard bow, SUPERFAST I reported just some scratches. Tanker AEGEAS III said to suffer most of all, sustaining a 1.0x0.35-meter breach portside, stern area, some 2 meters above waterline. SUPERFAST I left Patras according to schedule, EUROCARGO TRIESTE left Patras after delay requested for inspection. AEGEAS III remained in Patras to undergo repairs. No leak reported.
