Offshore support ship with 4 tons of cocaine intercepted off Spain
Offshore support ship THORAN was intercepted Spanish law enforcement agencies in international waters off Spain, and brought to Cadiz on Oct 7. 3800 kilos of cocaine were found on board, 7 crew, all of Turkish nationality, were arrested. THORAN was under surveillance, prior to seizure, for quite a time, she was spotted as possible drug trafficker during ongoing operation aimed at interrupting drug trafficking from Caribbean to Europe.
