Container ship CONTAINERSHIPS VII suffered fire, resumed sailing

Fire erupted in the engine room of Finnish feeder CONTAINERSHIPS VII early in the morning Oct 7 in Gulf of Finland, while vessel was proceeding in traffic separation zone NWN of Seiskar Island, en route from St. Petersburg Russia to Helsinki Finland. Vessel was brought to anchor in traffic separation zone and remained anchored for some 5 hours. Generator caught fire and was quickly extinguished by crew, no serious damages mentioned in Finnish news citing owner, Containerships Co. CONTAINERSHIPS VII resumed sailing at around 0830 UTC, as of 1430 UTC Oct 7 she was approaching Helsinki.
