Offshore supply ship aground, crew evacuated, Texas

Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi received alert message of offshore supply tug GULF JUSTICE taking on water at 0340 LT Aug 25, near Port Mansfield, Texas, with 12 crew on board. Judging from photo, vessel looks like she was pushed aground. Attempts to assist GULF JUSTICE with the tug failed, it was decided to evacuate crew by helicopter. By 1406 LT all 12 crew were safely transferred to land. No information on vessel’s condition available at the moment, with Hurricane Harvey approaching Texas coast.
