Chinese freighter grounding, Pearl River estuary

Cargo vessel CHANGHEHAIYANG ran aground in the morning Aug 3 in Pearl River estuary in front of Longxue island, downstream from Nansha, while en route to Guangzhou. Vessel was refloated in the evening Aug 3 with coming tide, and brought to anchor for inspection, which didn’t find serious damages, but found instead outdated charts, which may explain grounding.
