Schooner ALABAMA with 17 passengers on board ran aground near Mystic River mouth, Connecticut, USA, in the evening June 18, reported USCG. USCG rescue boat was launched, all passengers were safely transferred to Noank Shipyard, Groton. ALABAMA understood to be refloated, awaiting inspection.
