Ferry MARIA BUONO allided with pier, 50 passengers injured, Italy

Ferry MARIA BUONO collided with pier while docking at Casamicciola, Ischia Island, Italy, Gulf of Naples, at around 0930 LT June 17, on arrival from Napoli. Some 50 passengers were slightly injured from a strong jolt. Ferry said to remain generally, undamaged. She was detained by Port Authorities for inspection, suspecting probable technical deficiencies.
