177 kilos of cocaine found attached to CLIFFORD MAERSK hull

Mexican Navy in a press-release on June 6 announced a cocaine bust, saying that 177 kilos of cocaine were found in three cylinders 1.75x0.5 meter each, which were attached to underwater hull of a container ship CLIFFORD MAERSK, in fore section. It was a joint operation of several agencies, with Navy divers taking part in final stage, after vessel docked at Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico. As of 0500 UTC June 7, vessel was still in Lazaro Cardenas. CLIFFORD MAERSK is deployed on Trans-Pacific AC2 Service, with Manzanillo and Busan Kore being next ports of call.
