Royal Arctic Line’s MARY ARCTICA hit iceberg, damaged

Royal Arctic Line’s MARY ARCTICA hit an iceberg near Nanortalik, southernmost Greenland, at around 0200 LT May 31, while en route to Aalborg, Denmark. Vessel suffered damages which require ship repair yard works, she was taken to Qaqortog (probably towed), north of Nanortalik, for inspection. As of 4000 UTC June 3, she was at anchor at Qaqortoq. Cargoes from MARY ARCTICA are to be taken by ARINA ARCTICA (IMO 8131180) and other ships deployed on Royal Arctic Line’s Greenland services.
