NORVIK grounding in Denmark, suspect drunk Russian Master

General cargo vessel NORVIK ran aground in the evening May 27 at the Kalundborg port entrance, Denmark, Great Belt. Vessel refloated in some three hours by own means, and was brought to anchor near grounding site. According to police, Russian Master of the vessel was drunk, test was taken, result to become known on May 29. Vessel is detained until investigation complete. No damages, no leak reported. Vessel arrived to Kalundborg from Thyboron, Denmark.
