HYDRA grounding, Kiel Canal

General cargo vessel HYDRA ran onto embankment at Ruesterbergen, Schulp, Kiel Canal, in the morning May 27, while transiting Canal in western direction en route to Antwerp. Grounding was caused by fire in switchboard in engine room, which disabled vessel. Two tugs were called, vessel was refloated and sailed to Brunsbuettel, under own power according to AIS track, where she was berthed. At 0400 UTC May 28 vessel was still docked at South Quay, Brunsbuettel.
