Suezmax NEW LEGEND grounding, Suez Canal

Suezmax crude oil tanker NEW LEGEND reportedly ran aground at around midday local time May 23 on 62 kilometer mark in Suez Canal, while transiting Canal in southern direction. Four tugs were sent to assist tanker, which was partially blocking traffic. Tanker was refloated and completed transit in the evening same day, after safety check. Understood there were no damages, NEW LEGEND left Suez at night May 23 and is under way continuing her voyage from Novorossiysk Russia to Vadinar India. Understood tanker is in load.
