Cruise ship LEIZURE WORLD with 123 passengers on board suffered a small fire in the morning May 11, while approaching Swettenham Pier at George Town, Penang Island, Malaysia. Fire reportedly was extinguished by crew in less, than an hour. Vessel was brought to anchor on George Town anchorage, for a survey. Passengers were taken ashore by two rescue boats from docked at George Town cruise ship SUPERSTAR LIBRA, with passengers taking it all as a fun, not as a threat, wrote The Star.
