Ferry RAJA 6 grounding near Ko Samui, Thailand

Ferry RAJA 6 ran aground in the afternoon May 3 while en route from Ko Phangan island, north of Ko Samui island, to Don Sak ferry pier, Surat Thani province, Thailand, Gulf of Siam. There were 105 passengers and 40 vehicles on board. Vessel ran onto a sand bank, no damages reported. Passengers were evacuated and delivered to land, ferry was to be refloated with high tide.
