HEIDI blocked fairway after engine failure, Denmark

General cargo vessel HEIDI suffered engine failure in Randers Fjord, Denmark, at around 1300 CET May 2, while sailing Gudenaa river upstream, proceeding to Randers port in ballast from Karmsund, Norway. Vessel had to drop an anchor to stop and avoid grounding, and being turned by current, blocked the Canal. After restarting engine at around 1930 CET, vessel continued voyage, she docked at Randers at 2030 CET. No damages reported. See full-scale photos at http://amtsavisen.dk/article_gallery/338414
