Russian Navy spy ship LIMAN sank in collision, 78 crew rescued, Black Sea
Russian Navy spy ship LIMAN collided with Lebanon live stock carrier YOUZARSIF H at 1153 Moscow time Apr 27 some 20 nm northwest of Bosphorus, in Black sea. YOUZARSIF H was en route from Romania to Jordan, spy ship’s voyage details unknown. According to Turkish authorities, LIMAN suffered starboard hull breach and sank at 1448, all 78 people which were on board reported rescued. SAR ships and tugs are on the collision site. Russia earlier sent a plane, as it was reported, that 15 crew were missing. Latest reports said all crew rescued. Understood YOUZARSIF H also suffered damages, but not critical.
