National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) SA reported, that bulk carrier HARMONY OCEAN in the evening Feb 25 had to call Mossel Bay, SA, in emergency, with two unconscious crew on board, requiring immediate evacuation. NSRI Mossel Bay launched rescue boat, which transferred ill persons to shore. They’ve been taken to hospital. As of 0300 UTC Feb 27, vessel was still at anchor in Mossel Bay. Maybe waiting for ill crew return, or maybe circumstances require investigation or sanitation survey.
