EUKOR car carrier with 5,000 KIA and Hyundai cars seized in Libya

Car carrier MORNING COMPASS reported seized by militants of one Marshal Khalifa Hafter, strongman from Susah, eastern Libya, in Libyan waters, while route to Misrata from Korea with more than 5,000 Korean KIA and Hyundai cars on board. Who are those militants, what do they want and what it’s all about, is absolutely unclear. It is said, that the militants warned vessel not to enter Libyan waters before seizing her. Vessel was seized on Feb 19 or 18, and is to be taken to Susah. Last known position 1800 UTC Feb 18 in 32 57N 022 10E, off Susah, proceeding at a reduced speed of some 7 knots.
