Cruise ship NORWEGIAN STAR drifting, tug steaming to assist

Cruise ship NORWEGIAN STAR suffered propulsion failure at around 1500 UTC Feb 9, late at night local time, shortly after leaving Melbourne, bound for Auckland NZ. Vessel with more than 2,000 passengers on board started to drift, some 60 nm southeast of Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne. She is to be towed back to Melbourne for repairs. As of 0730 UTC Feb 10, cruise ship was still adrift, waiting for tug. Tug Hastings seems to be deployed for liner's towage, she’s heading to NORWEGIAN STAR, according to AIS track, at 1330 UTC Feb 10 she was 13 nm away.
