SKY MOON arrested for calling Crimea ports, Ukraine

General cargo vessel SKY MOON was detained by Ukrainian Coast Guard on Nov 30 on Danube river in Ukrainian waters, for violating Ukrainian ban on calling annexed Crimean ports. Vessel was taken to Ukrainian Reni port, while under way to port Master of the vessel tried to ground vessel in Romanian waters. CG prevented attempt. 9 crew, including Libyan Master and 8 Syrians, also detained.
