NENITA grounding, Columbia river

Bulk carrier NENITA loaded with grain ran aground at around 1040 UTC (AIS) Nov 19 on lower Columbia river near Skamokawa. Vessel stranded off fairway, reportedly after engine failure. Forepeak area was breached with ensuing water ingress, breach was sealed by crew. Vessel refloated some 4 hours after grounding and taken back, up the river, for inspection. She was docked at Kalama at around 0200 UTC Nov 20. No pollution reported. Vessel is en route from Kalama to Qinzhou China.
