Hope for FLINTERDIJK crew, France

General cargo vessel FLINTERDIJK is stuck at Bayonne, France, since Oct 21. Vessel is seized for owner’s unpaid bills, including bunker. Cargo of sulfur was offloaded. 9 crew include 5 Filipino, 3 Russian and 1 Ukrainian nationalities, they weren’t paid for two months. Supplies are said to be paid by banks which sequestered the vessel, Rotterdam nominated mediator, understood to help out the crew. Flinter Shipping said to file bankruptcy recently.
