Ghost ship abandoned by crew found by Vietnamese fishermen: UPDATE Nov 17

Vietnamese fishing vessels BTH-97859TS and BTH-97947 on Nov 16 spotted drifting vessel some 157 nm off La Gi, northeast of Vung Tau, Vietnam. Fishermen boarded vessel, which was apparently abandoned some days ago, in good order, with deck lights still on. Vessel understood to be steel-hull fishing vessel, Chinese or Taiwanese, with Chinese characters on stern and on bow, of 40 meters length. Vietnamese fishermen towed mysterious ship to La Gi, she was anchored some 2 miles off coast on authorities request, fearing possible contamination.

UPDATE Nov 17: According to new information, there are numbers 19007 in ship’s name, and Chinese characters. Crew included assumedly 12 persons, but there are no personal items found, such as clothing, cooking utensils in a galley look like they were in use at the time of abandonment. No flags found, either. Ship’s length is 50 meters, length 10 meters, she’s relatively new, painted in two colors, gray and white. No traces of the crew and no clues as to what may happened, and how did the crew left the ship, deck light are still on. According to all available details, crew left the ship few days ago.
