General cargo vessel NORDIC allided with small Northern Lock gate in Brunsbuettel, Kiel Canal, in the morning Nov 12, inflicting damages on lock’s constructions. Lock will be closed until Nov 14. NORDIC understood to suffer slight or no damages, after investigation she resumed voyage to Bremen, arriving there in the evening. Allision took place, reportedly, in a dense fog.
