HANJIN SEATTLE containers loss

Container ship HANJIN SEATTLE meet rough seas near the entrance to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and 35 empty shipping containers were lost overboard near the south end of Vancouver Island. Some containers likely sank, but others could still be floating in the waters off Vancouver Island, posing threat to shipping, according to senior marine inspector Marc McElney with the U.S. Coast Guard. HANJIN SEATTLE wasn’t damaged, vessel docked at Port Angeles on Nov 7, as of morning Nov 12 she’s relocating to Seattle.
