Boat sank in Malacca Strait, 18 people dead, more than 40 missing

Local coastal boat sank near Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia, Malacca Strait, in the afternoon Nov 2. Boat with 93 or more than 100 people on board was sailing from Johor, Malaysia, to Batam, mainly passengers were, reportedly, illegal Indonesian workers. Some 39 people were rescued, 18 were found dead, the rest understood to be missing. SAR under way. The name of the boat is probably, TKI Tenggelam. Boat was caught in rough weather and started to sink, some media say boat hit a reef, and some media say, it was overloaded.
