Ukrainian volunteer community Info Napalm (infonapalm.org) is constantly monitoring ports of annexed by Russia Crimea Peninsula, getting information on Crimean shipping from different sources, including Ukrainian patriots in Crimean ports, who covertly monitor ports and ships. Those insiders reported a very strange and suspicious cargo operation, which took place during the night Oct 21-22, from 2200 LT Oct 21 until 0200 LT Oct 22 in Feodosia port, Crimea. Vessel arrived to Feodosia on Oct 20, from Tartus, Syria, with a one-day stop in Romania. Berth and nearby areas were cleared of all people, and protected by police officers and security agents in civilian clothes. Berth flood lamps were turned not inside, but outside the area, in order to hamper possible visual surveillance. Some 8 or 10 boxes were offloaded with all possible precautions, exercised when handling extremely dangerous goods. Boxes were offloaded one by one, about 30 minutes per each. Boxes roughly measured 0,5х1х3 meters, made of composite non-flammable materials, and painted in military olive color. Such boxes are used for the containment of ammunition of not less than 200-milimeter calibre, including chemical ammo.
Info Napalm believes it was Russian chemical weaponry, taken out from Syria on the wake of fears of possible disclosure.
General cargo vessel NADALINA is managed by RUAD MARINE SERVICES SRL, Romania, actual owner and manager Syrian family Johar, person in charge of vessel’s operations is one Samir Fahel, who’s actively posting photos of his vessel in Facebook.
