Bulk carrier GLADIATORSHIP grounding

KOTUG SALVAGE reported refloating of a bulk carrier GLADIATORSHIP in Nacala, Mozambique:
Nacala, Mozambique: KOTUG provided salvage assistance to refloat M/V “ Gladiatorship” after she ran aground just before high water. The vessel was unable to refloat herself and at risk of being damaged by the drop between high and low water. KOTUG employed two powerful Rotortugs to pull her free of the beach and back into safe waters, thus refloating the M/V “Gladiatorship” within two hours of running aground.
KOTUG didn’t name a date, according to AIS grounding took place on Sep 4, when GLADIATORSHIP was leaving Nacala, bound for Richards Bay, ZA. Vessel understood to be anchored and surveyed after grounding, before resuming voyage, no damages reported. Vessel presently is anchored on Richards Bay anchorage.
